Short Films
Outside of our corporate work, SummerIsle Studios films and produces short films with local talent and film enthusiasts. The films are a great way of getting together, making new contacts and enjoying the experience of making a film.
The completed films are sent to film festivals across the UK and the world. These festivals provide the best opportunity to have the films seen by industry professionals and film critiques.
All of our films are made on a non-profit basis and we look to support and encourage local performing and production talent through the making of our films and documentaries.

We are very pleased to announce that we will be hosting free film-making workshops on behalf of The Mix in Stowmarket.
Our workshops are completely free but you must be aged 11-19 to participate, or up to 25 with additional needs.
Our workshops will teach you how to create your own professional films on a budget.
During our sessions we will teach you how to:
• Develop your script writing
• Storyboard your film
• Define your camera work
• Get to grips with sound and lighting
So come on board and we’ll show you how to create an MTV style visual masterpiece.
Summer is well and truly on the way and we couldn't resist taking advantage of the better weather. Our Creative Director Craig wrote a fantastic little script based around the them 'The Boss' to be entered into the reed.co.uk film competition 2012. Enjoy.
